Usually, because there is no showroom and no in-home salesperson on the job. You measure, we build, you hang. A dealer who measures and installs is a different product and a different price — that door is belview.trade.
Every panel is cut to the opening. Put the widths and drops in and the site returns a supply figure for those windows. That number is confirmed after we see the photo and lock a drawing.
You do the frames. Panels arrive built — stiles, rails, slats and tilt already together, cut for that opening. Frames are also made to order, but they are modular: you set the frame in the reveal, then hang the panels. That is the DIY part.
PVC is typically 4–5 weeks from accepted drawing. Timber and aluminium sit closer to 6–8. That is a factory cycle, not a courier estimate. We date the crate when the plant books the run.
Direct is supply. Plenty of homes hang their own. If you want a fitter we can point you to one near the suburb. Install is quoted separately by that person.
We review the photo and the numbers before cutting. If something looks off we stop. Once you accept the drawing, the sizes are yours. That is why three widths and two drops matter.

Manufacturing defects on panels and hardware are covered for five years on PVC and aluminium, three on timber finishes in dry interior rooms. Finish in a wet room on timber is not. Motors follow the kit maker’s term. The exact wording sits on the order confirmation.
